Ingredients for Lemon Pepper Chicken:
- chicken 1 kg
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- black pepper powder 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- yogurt ½ cup
- 3-4 tablespoons oil
- 2 Bay leaves
- 4 black pepper corn
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic
- ginger julienne 1 tablespoon
- 4 green chilies
- black pepper powder 1 tablespoon
- cornstarch 1/2 tablespoon
- 2 tablespoons water
How to prepare Lemon Pepper Chicken:
First of all take 1 kg chicken and wash it properly then put the chicken in a bowl. Once you are done then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
Now add salt according to your own taste, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste then take ½ cup of yogurt and smooth it with the help of a beater.
After that, add this yogurt in your chicken and put it aside. Take a pan and heat it then add 3-4 tablespoons of oil.
Add 2 bay leaves, 4 black pepper corn, 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic then sauté it and add 1 tablespoon of ginger julienne.
It’s time for you to sauté it one more time for 40-60 seconds then add your marinated chicken in the pan and mix it well.
Make sure that you cook it at high flame for 2-3 minutes till it starts changing its color and its water becomes dry.
Now take 4 green chilies slit them from the center and then add them in the pan as well. Add some salt one more time but be careful otherwise it will ruin the entire recipe.
Add 1 tablespoon of black pepper powder and mix it well then cover the lid. Cook it for 15-20 minutes on low flame.
Turn the flame high again it will help in making the sauce thick. Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes.
Finally, Take 2 tablespoons of water then add ½ tablespoon of cornstarch and add it in the sauce for more thickness!
Mix for 30-40 seconds and turn off the flame. Your Lemon Pepper Chicken is ready now.
