Potato Bombs In A Plate With A Sauce In The Center

Ingredients for Potato Bombs:

  • 2-3 green chilies
  • ½ cup of grated coconut
  • tamarind pulp 3 tablespoons
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • salt to taste
  • fresh coriander ½ cup
  • ½ kg boiled & peeled potatoes
  • ½ cup cottage cheese crumbled
  • bread crumbs ¼ cup
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • crushed cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  • ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • crushed coriander Seeds 1 teaspoon
  • all purpose flour ½ cup
  • black pepper powder ¼ teaspoon
  • water as required
  • bread crumbs 1 cup
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
  • cooking oil for frying

How to prepare Potato Bombs:

We will start this recipe by putting ½ cup of fresh grated coconuts in a grinder with 2-3 green chilies and then we will add ½ cup of coriander.

Now we will add ½ cup of mint leaves and you can add salt according to your own taste. We now add 3 tablespoons of tamarind pulp.

After grinding it all well we will put it aside and then we take a large bowl. We will add these potatoes in this bowl and make sure before doing this boil the potatoes and also peel them.

In this next step we will mesh all these potatoes then add crumbled ½ cup cottage cheese, ¼ cup of bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder and crushed cumin seeds 1 teaspoon.

It is time for us to add some more spices so we will now add ½ teaspoon of chaat masala, ¼ teaspoon of garam masala powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds with salt as much as you like.

After that, we will mix it till we make sure that all these ingredients are now combined. Now first we make a ball from this mixture then we will spread this mixture on the palm of our hand.

We will add the chutney we prepared earlier in this mixture then we’ll cover it and make a ball from it one more time.

Now after putting it aside we’ll take ½ cup of all purpose flour, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, some salt and water as required and add these things in a bowl.

After mixing it well we’ll take another bowl and add 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds then we’ll coat our potato balls in both of these mixtures.

Finally, We will deep fry these balls in a frying pan and your Potato Bombs are ready to go.
