New Degi Biryani Delicious & Fantastic Recipe

Degi Biryani In A Plate On White Background

Ingredients for New Degi Biryani:

  • red chili powder to taste
  • chicken ½ kg
  • turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • oil ½ Cup
  • garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • badiyan ka phool 1
  • green cardamom 3-4
  • bay leaves 2-3
  • cloves 4-5
  • green chilies julienne 3-4
  • cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • tomato 1 small
  • zarda ka rang as required
  • yogurt whisked ½ Cup
  • soaked & boiled with salt rice sella ½ kg
  • onion fried 1 medium
  • fresh coriander chopped 2-3 tablespoon
  • 2-3 tablespoon mint leaves chopped
  • pickled green chilies 2 tablespoon
  • rice sella boiled
  • onion fried 1 small 1 tablespoon kewra water

How to prepare New Degi Biryani:

Take a large bowl and add ½ kg chicken in it then red chili powder according to your own taste with ½ teaspoon turmeric powder.

Now add 1 teaspoon of coriander powder then add 1 teaspoon garam masala. Mix it all well then marinate for about 15 minutes.

After that, Take a pan add ½ cup of oil in it with 3-4 green cardamoms, 2-3 bay leaves and 1 badiyan flower.

Add ½ teaspoon of cumin seeds and mix well then add your marinated chicken in the pan with all these ingredients.

Now add 3-4 green chilies julienne with 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste. Mix well for 2-3 minutes and then cover the lid.

Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes then remove the lid and add 1 teaspoon of salt with 1 small tomato then mix well.

Add ½ cup of whisked yogurt and mix well for one more time. Cover the lid again and cook for 5 minutes then remove the lid.

Make sure that now you will cook it at high flame until the oil starts to separate. Take ½ cup whisked yogurt one more time and add zarda rang as required in yogurt and mix well.

Add this yogurt in the pan then add ½ kg rice sella that is soaked and boiled with salt. Sprinkle 1 chopped medium onion.

After that, add 2-3 tablespoons of chopped fresh coriander, 2-3 tablespoons of mint leaves, 2 tablespoons of pickled green chilies.

Finally, Add some more boiled rice sella and sprinkle fried onion then finish your biryani by adding 1 tablespoon of kewra water.

Cover and steam cook for 8-10 minutes and your New Degi Biryani is ready to serve.
