Ingredients for Lahori Daal:
- 1 cup daal masoor
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- salt to taste
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white cumin
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- 1 cup of fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
Way to prepare Lahori Daal?

- Start by washing the daal then put in water for 10-15 minutes and dry it. Now put 2 cups of clean water in the daal and boil it.
- When it starts boiling then add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt. When the daal become soft add cream and remove it from the stove.
- Now heat the cooking oil with butter then fry garlic and crushed onion in it. Add the daal in it.
- Finally, Add black pepper and lemon juice then leave it for 5-7 minutes at low heat.
- And your Lahori Daal is ready to eat.
