Lahori Daal Recipe

Ingredients for Lahori Daal:

  • 1 cup daal masoor
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon white cumin
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1 cup of fresh cream
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil

Way to prepare Lahori Daal?

    • Start by washing the daal then put in water for 10-15 minutes and dry it. Now put 2 cups of clean water in the daal and boil it.
    • When it starts boiling then add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt. When the daal become soft add cream and remove it from the stove.
    • Now heat the cooking oil with butter then fry garlic and crushed onion in it. Add the daal in it.
    • Finally, Add black pepper and lemon juice then leave it for 5-7 minutes at low heat.
    • And your Lahori Daal is ready to eat.
