Rava Halwa In A Plate On Table

Time required for Rava Halwa:

35 minutes approx.


  • 3 cups of water
  • sugar 1 ¼ cup
  • 1 tablespoon of green cardamom crushed powder
  • saffron
  • clarified butter ½ cup
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 10 almonds
  • 15 cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoons raisins

Way to prepare Rava Halwa:

Add 3 cups of water at high flame then boil it slightly and add 1 ¼ cup of sugar. Stir it until the water becomes clear.

Now add 1 tablespoon of green cardamom crushed powder then add few threads of saffron and stir until the process of boiling completes.

Take a frying pan add ½ cup of clarified butter and 1 cup of semolina then mix well. Sauté it until the semolina becomes light golden brown.

Add 10 vertically cut almonds, 15 half cut cashews, 2 tablespoons raisins then mix well and sauté for 7 minutes.

After that, Add the sugar solution we prepared earlier. Finally stir for approx 9 minutes.

Your Rava Halwa is ready.
