Onion Raita In Bowl On Table

Time required for Onion Raita:

15 minutes approx.


  • 1 medium size onion
  • 1 tomato medium size
  • small carrot 1
  • 5 tablespoons of coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups of yoghurt
  • ¼ teaspoon black salt
  • 1 green chilli
  • roasted cumin powder ¼ teaspoon

Way to prepare Onion Raita:

First fine chop 1 medium size onion and 1 medium size tomato. Now add both chopped vegetables in a bowl.

Take a small carrot and add it in the bowl as well after grating it. Add 5 tablespoons of coriander leaves and salt according to your taste.

Add 2 cups of fresh yoghurt then mix well and add ¼ teaspoon of black salt. After that fine chop 1 green chilli and add it into the bowl.

Finally add ¼ teaspoon of roasted cumin powder and mix well.

Your Onion Raita is ready.
