Hyderabadi Sabzi

Time required for Hyderabadi Sabzi:

25 hours approx.


  • 1 cup potatoes
  • cauliflower 1 cup
  • 1 cup bringal
  • 1 cup of green fenugreek
  • a cup of leek
  • sliced tomatoes 1 cup
  • red chilli powder 2 teaspoons
  • 1 teaspoon of grind garlic
  • 1 cup of pea grains
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 cup of pumpkins
  • carrot 1 cup
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • grind ginger 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • oil 1 cup
  • 1 cup of tamarind pulp

How to prepare Hyderabadi Sabzi?

    • First slice all the vegetables and add water in a deep pot then add vinegar and leave it for some time. Now remove water from vegetable add them in a sauce pan and cook them at low steam.
    • Separate fenugreek after slicing it. Heat the water in another sauce pan. Fry onion and vegetable in oil then add tomato. Once tomato become smooth add all the spices and roast them.
    • Add vegetables also when the oil comes up. Add paste of fenugreek and tamarind and leave it for steam just for 5 minutes.
    • Serve it with boiled rice. Your Hyderabadi Sabzi is ready to go.
