Ingredients for Lachay Daar Paratha:
- 1 cup all purpose flour (maida)
- salt to taste
- ¼ cup oil
- wheat flour 1 cup
- warm water
- ghee as required
How to prepare Lachay Daar Paratha:
Take a large bowl and add 1 cup all purpose flour in it then add 1 cup of wheat flour with salt according to your own taste.
Now add ¼ cup of oil and start the kneading process. Make sure that you add warm water in it during the kneading process.
Knead this dough till it becomes soft and smooth then cover it with a cloth and put it aside for at least 20 minutes.
After that, Make four small balls from this dough then turn these small balls into paratha shape by rolling them with a rolling pin.
Spread ghee on one of them with the help of a brush and sprinkle flour on it then place another paratha over it.
Now spread ghee on this one with the help of a brush and sprinkle some flour on it then place the third one over it.
Repeat this same process with this third paratha then cover it with the fourth. Remember you need to sprinkle some flour on the fourth paratha but do not spread ghee on it.
Use cutter and cut the entire dough into strips of about 1 inch then roll it like a swiss roll. Place this roll on another strip and roll it again.
You need to repeat this process 2 more times. Use this same process for preparing your remaining rolls. Coat it with the dry wheat flour.
Roll it into the round shape with the help of a rolling pin but do not apply too much pressure.
Finally, Heat your girdle then add ghee into it and fry your paratha from both the sides with ghee. Your Lachay Daar Paratha is ready.
