Time required for Wheat Flour Halwa:
55 minutes approx.
- 2.5 cups of water
- sugar 1 cup
- 4 crushed green cardamom
- pinch of saffron
- 1 cup clarified butter
- 1 cup semolina
- 10 almonds
Way to prepare Wheat Flour Halwa:
Start by adding 2.5 cups of water at high flame and add 1 cup of sugar. Stir it until the water becomes clear.
Now add 4 crushed green cardamoms then add pinch of saffron and stir until the process of boiling completes.
Put this syrup aside then take a frying pan add 1 cup of clarified butter at medium low flame, add 1 cup of whole wheat flour and mix well. Sauté it until the flour becomes golden brown.
After that, Add the sugar solution we prepared earlier at high flame. Add 10-12 vertically sliced almonds then mix well.
Finally stir until halwa becomes thick.
Your Wheat Flour Halwa is ready.
