
Time required for Green Chilli Chutney:
20 minutes approx.
Ingredients:
5-6 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
asafoetida powder ½ teaspoon
150 grams whole green chillies
tamarind paste 1 tablespoon
salt to taste
¼ cup grated coconut
mint leaves ¼ cup
Way to prepare Green Chilli Chutney:
First add 5-6 tablespoons oil in a frying pan at low flame then add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, ½ teaspoon of asafoetida powder and sauté for 1 minute.
Now add 150 grams of green chillies and cook it for 2 minutes after covering the lid. Remove the lid after 2 minutes then add 1 tablespoon tamarind paste and salt according to your taste.
Mix well then add grated coconut ¼ cup, ¼ cup of mint leaves then sauté for 1 minute.
Remove the pan from stove after turning the flame off. Now grind this mixture into a coarse paste.
Your Green Chilli Chutney is ready to go.
